What is the problem with the Polaris Ranger 1000 XP 2024? ›

Polaris has determined that some Model Year 2023-2024 Polaris Sportsman 850, XP 1000, and XP 1000 S ATVs may experience a fuel leak at the fuel pump flange outlet. A fuel leak at the pump flange outlet could flow in close proximity to a hot surface, posing a fire hazard and risk of serious injury.

On very rare occasions – and under ideal circ*mstances – you might see a Polaris Ranger with 25,000, 35,000, or even 45,000 miles on it still going strong. On the other hand, you might also see a totaled Ranger with less than 1,000 miles on the odometer.

In general my rule of thumb is 100 hours and 1000 miles for ever year old the machine is. Max for me is like 300 hours and 3000 miles. Unless they can show some significant maintenance and replacement parts have been done.
