Buckwheat Pancakes with Roasted Apricots
I LOVE pancakes. In any form. French, American, savoury, sweet, for breakfast, lunch or dinner, any time of year. They are a favourite round here. Although I am an especially big fan of savoury French crêpes or galettes stuffed with spinach & ricotta, or ham, cheese & eggs, there is something particularly delicious about fruit…

Low Sugar French Toast (Gluten & Dairy Free)
Thursday morning is croissant morning in our house. It’s a once-a-week treat, and although I do love to make some proper delicious wholegrain croissants when I can, often we just pick up a bake-from-frozen pack of butter croissants that have just a few simple, recognisable ingredients (flour, yeast, butter, sugar) and less than 5g sugar…

Kid-Friendly Spinach Muffins for a Sandwich-Free Lunchbox
While my daughter may happily munch through a sandwich with a few salad leaves added in, my son loves to take every food I lovingly make for him and pull it apart into its elements. Seriously, even pizza gets eaten in parts: toppings, cheese, then crust. And if I dare to put some spinach leaves…

Sugar Free Chocolate Orange Hot Cross Buns
Easter is a good couple of weeks away still, but when has that ever stopped the shops from lining their shelves with sugary goods before Lent has even started?! If you are finding it hard to resist the yearly display of hot cross buns stuffed full of sugar and dried fruit already, I have the…

Warm Kale & Apple Salad
Most meals in our house growing up were served with a green salad and fresh made vinaigrette on the side. I never really questioned it, it was just the way it was done. And in fact, I came to really enjoy them, and I tend to do the same with my own family (the eating…
Blood Orange & Chicken Salad with Tahini Dressing (Vegan Option)
I love the quality and freshness of peak season citrus fruits in January. My sugar free lemon curd, tart and meringue pie have been very popular here, but there is one citrus fruit I am even more excited about: blood oranges. We used to occasionally get blood orange juice for breakfast when I was growing…
What a lovely collection of recipes – so many delicious ideas for a wonderfully happy (yet slightly healthier!) Thanksgiving! Oh and BTW – I am absolutely in love with your gorgeous pumpkin pie!
